About Us

Asphalt Industries / Huizenga Enterprises, LLC was founded in 2009 and is owner-operated by Richard Huizenga. Our work sites and service area is primarily in the Pacific Northwest in Whatcom and Skagit Counties, but a few public projects each year require travel. Our services include asphalt patching, paving, crack sealing, sealcoating, parking lot striping, sign installation, brush mowing, excavation, grading and drainage solutions to residential, commercial, public, and industrial customers.

We are currently experiencing increased growth and are looking for hard-working, experienced and/or versatile crew members to add to our team. Experience in the industry isn't required but is a plus. There is always the potential for growth in our company which could lead to increased pay with the potential to become crew lead, foreman, supervisor, estimator, and or project manager. General Requirements

  • Have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation & a clean driving record
  • Willing to travel on occasion (only a few weeks/season; travel & hotel paid)
  • Have a cell phone for communication with crew members and staff
  • Focus on quality and safety with every task and job
  • Experience and a CDL are not required, but it is a plus
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Proficiency in English
  • Punctual
